Maple Tuna Tartare

Ingredients: 

Tuna Tartare: 
-300 grams of Sustainably caught Tuna or Salmon cut into small cubes 
-4 green onions, finely chopped 
-2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds 
-1 avocado, chopped into small pieces 
-1/2 cup diced cucumber 
-A handful of cilantro, chopped 
-1 tbsb lime juice 
-pinch of salt & pepper 

The Maple Sauce:
-2 tbsp Carrick Bros Maple Syrup 
-2 cloves of garlic, minced 
-1 tbsp. grated ginger 
-2 spring onions, chopped 
-2 tbsp soy sauce 
-1 tbsp sesame oil 
-1 tbsp rice vinegar

Directions: 
1) Mix the Maple sauce ingredients and add the Tuna, green onion, sesame seeds. Giver’ a stir... 
2) In a separate bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients. 
3) Plate the tartare by layering both mixtures in a ramekin. 
4) Drizzle with more maple syrup. 
5) Serve with Tortilla chips and enjoy! 

Jake’s Pro Tip: Slice your green onion thinly lengthwise and soak in ice water so it curls for garnish.
