Maple Peach Cobbler

Ingredients: 
1/2 cup Carrick Bros Maple Syrup 
1/2 cup unsalted butter 
1 cup all-purpose flour 
1 cup sugar 
1 tbsp baking powder 
Pinch of salt 
1 cup milk 
4 cups fresh peach slices 
1 tbsp lemon juice 
Ground cinnamon 
 
Directions: 
1). Melt butter and pour in a baking dish. 
2). Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour batter over butter (do not stir). 
3). Bring Maple Syrup, peach slices, and lemon juice to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Once the liquid has reduced, pour over batter (do not stir). Sprinkle with cinnamon 
4). Bake or Smoke at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. 

 
*TIP: Best served warm with vanilla ice cream and maple syrup drizzle. We also added a smoky flavour with our smoker and added extra sliced peaches after 20 minutes.
